I'd like to see a massive overhaul of the UI and how it works. Maybe integrate some ideas from Shake. Make the workflow faster and somehow do away with all those bloody window panes and tabs. Highly annoying when working with deep levels of precomps.

Right now it looks/feels like a Windows application poorly ported to OS 9, then hastily modified just enough to get it to run on OS X. A UI more like Motion would really be nice.
