Hello all,

One of my goals for the year is to start using after effects. I'd like to create motion backgrounds that my church can use. I've played around with it a bit, but I know that I am going about things all wrong. I'm really wanting to learn how to use it correctly.

Does anyone know of some good learning resources (websites/books) that they might recommend? I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks

I've used both the ae.tuts and lynda sites. Both are also very good.

I'd suggest starting off (perhaps for a single months membership) with Lynda - they've got some very good basic courses (with exercise files) to get the fundamentals sorted in a structured way and then you can start 'playing' with the ae.tuts site.

I've always really rated the Greyscale Gorilla blog by a chap called Nick - very 'real world' tuts. All free.
