After enabling TRIM the SSD can't recognize as internal drive

Hello Guys

I have Samsung 840 Pro 512 gb SSD connected to my Mac Pro with Syba SATA III 4 Port PCI-e controller . On Mavericks i was used the 3rd Party SATA Kext and i had no problems. But On Yosemite and on El Capitan when i'm enabling Trim with termninal after restarting the system i see the SSD connected with controller is not shows internally. I see Yellow icons..

who can help me or maybe no need to enable trim?

I thought 10.11 has native TRIM support for third party drives.

It's nothing to do about TRIM, in your case, the SSD most likely always be considered external if you check the system info carefully (even in Mavericks).

Any drive connected to your Mac Pro through PCIe will show up as an External Drive. Has nothing to do with TRIM or Drive Type (SSD, SSHD, HDD or Optical). This poses no problems or issues.

And YES - TRIM should be enabled!

I'm not Lou...

However the TRIM functionality must me manually enabled for non Apple SSDs.

I am Trim needs to be enabled (with a non Apple SSD) with the TRIM command in the Terminal. Once enabled, it will stay enabled during subsequent OS Updates. If you should want to disable TRIM, you would need to do it with another Terminal command.

So this means that TRIM would stay active even if I upgrade between major versions, e.g. from 10.10.5 to 10.11?
