iPhone After iOS13, when I post a photo on Facebook, my text is invisible.

If I post a photo to Facebook, and I am trying to describe said photo, for some reason my text as I type is invisible. I have no idea what I just typed. For some reason it simply won't appear on my screen.

This is from the Facebook app, and my iPhone 8+ running IOS 13.

Anyone else have this issue? And anyone else have any idea how to correct this?

Yes! This has been happening to me also. I can't seem to find any answers online. If I go to Facebook and pull up a photo, it's fine. But if I go to the photo first and upload it to Facebook, the text is invisible. So weird!

OK, I figured out that it only happens when I have my display set in "Dark Mode" ... however, it's still a bug.

Do you have your phone set to "Dark Mode"? I switched from dark to light and the problem disappeared. However, since I prefer Dark Mode, it is obviously a bug and still a problem!

I had the same problem. I switched to light mode, opened Twitter, switched to dark mode in the app and also picked the option ‘lights out’ and now I have dark mode on and I can finally see what I’m typing when sharing a tweet to FB

Yep, my phone is on Dark Mode all the time. Will try it again later when I turn Dark Mode off and see if it still happens.

Weird that it only happens to me when using Facebook and not other social media platforms.

It only works in twitter app, so not a great solution.

Yeah, I just confirmed that at least for me...Dark Mode was the culprit. I went back and disabled Dark Mode, then tried to load up a picture to Facebook and comment on it. The text started appearing once again as I was typing.

Went back to Dark Mode once again and the text went invisible again. Definitely a Dark Mode bug it looks like.

Edit: Looks like this one is finally fixed. Appears that Facebook did an update which corrected this and a couple of other bugs. At least I was able to finally post on Facebook in Dark Mode and my text was appearing now. Yay!
