iPhone After JB holding down on volume button doesn't mute

I don't use any Cydia tweaks that use Activator but the first time I jailbroke I was using a few that did and I had the same problem. Ended up being a bug in Activator that was later fixed with an update. Try uninstalling Activator and see of that helps

hasn't done this on iPhone for years now...this does happen on iPad though

I updated and also reinstalled - same problem

I can't mute by holding down the "lower" volume button
