im thinking about buying a refurbished one when school starts. around late august or early september. it will be my first mac! :D i cant wait.

Just pay for the shipping. If you get the "free shipping" It'll seem to take forever because it'll ship "ground".

ordered it yesterday morning about 10:30 mountain time. it shipped out and should arrive tomorrow :) how i dont know. but i dont care haha im happy

couldn't agree more.

I opted to not pay the freakin $11 for extra shipping and it did take FOREVER!!

its so worth it, afterall, whats an extra $11 on top of the new iMac price tag eh?

I only wish I had that mind set.

but alas, its been here now for over a week and i couldn't be happier with it.

after 2 days of playing around, re-doing the system four times(i am picky and things were not how i wanted them) having the ui freeze once thought it was the bad driver for the graphics card, and a few things here and there. i love this thing. hd movies and tv shows look AMAZING. its incredibly fast! and apple support has been great so far! (had a little problem with transfering documents) this is why i have will never buy a pc again! this coming from a computer technician at circuit city who has to sell and work on pc's haha

I was thinking about doing the same thing you did..

..can you tell me if Apple hooked up your ram by putting more in it, or did it come with the standard?
