Since the July re-fresh I have had 3 iMacs and all have had the yellow tinge issue. Working with alot of white background photography, its simply un-workable for me and I have decided to just get a refund now. Applecare have had no issue in sending a replacement out to me but after the third one it's come to a point that I need to stop wasting my time and energy.
I might go into a store to see if I can test the screen before buying but may just have to look elsewhere now unfortunately. A shame because I really wanted to work with this iMac but I just may have been very unlucky.
I think most general user's wont notice the tint, and there will be many machines without the issue but it's not like we're making it up. For a machine that starts at £999 and boasts about its display, there shouldnt be this many reports of problems.
Disappointed.
