D davidnssbm macrumors regular Oct 23, 2009 173 0 Jun 8, 2010 #3 try rebooting from the OS disk and doing an archive install (which will re-install the OS with out erasing your data). my laptop did this recently. a quick google search will give you more detailed instructions
