I decided to upgrade my new MacBook Air M1 to Monterey. Update went ok, after some issues with Gatekeeper, but then finally worked.
However, my new external Monitor, the LG-32UN88-B, is not recognized anymore. Its attached to the CalDigit TS3 Plus, which I also bought. I have just returned a few days to Mac, so all this stuff is new again.

The Monitor worked fine before I updated to Monterey, now it doesn't get a signal anymore. What's going on now ???? :(

Ok, correction. On my Hub, above mentioned CalDigit TS3 Plus, the display is not working anymore. When I unplug the monitor there (which worked fine before the update to Monterey!) and plug it directly into the Mac, then the display works again. Every other port on the Hub is working, how come the display does not ?

Hmm ok. After taking the Hub offline, and enabling it again, that whole situation has been resolved. ;) I am sorry for bothering you with this.

Cheers

In the end it only needed unplugging and re-plugging the Hub. All was fine since. ;)

Same problem with Dell Ultrasharp 27 and M1 Pro Max 16. No connection with USB-C cable, HDMI works fine. Latest 12.1 RC installed. Annoying AF!

Did a clean install of Monterey 12.1 and it did NOT fix the problem. Apple has promised to send a free USB-C Digital AV Multiport adapter that usually solves the problem. Hopefully a proper fix will come soon.
