I successfully upgraded my 2012 15inch MacBook Pro to Ventura using OpenCore Patcher.

Everything works great with one exception: The Safari browser will not run Youtube videos. I get an obtuse error message. I can run them in Google Chrome browser and Firefox, but not Safari. Perhaps a clue to the problem lies in the fact that my Mac informs me that I have a software update available. No clue is given as to what that update is. But when I click to download the promised update I am informed that my Mac is already up to date.

The version of Safari that OpenCore installed on my computer is version 16.6.

Any thoughts about what's going on and how to remedy it?

Yes, Firefox and Chrome both work fine. I was hoping there was a way to get Safari 17+ installed. But since it is an integral part of the Mac OS install, I guess I just have to avoid Safari on my setup.
