Hi

After the upgrade, I had install the OS 10.13, it was successful, but when I try to boot with SSD, the apple logo changes to apple's "no entry" logo, then automaticly boot through my old HDD. I have installed the OS on external HDD, and with that is no problem, it boots normally. After that, I had make a copy with Carbon copy cloner to the SSD, but its the same, it shows the apple no entry logo, and after that goes through the old HDD. Where is the problem? I had buy a 593-1330 cable, and make everything like in this tutorial
. I can use, save for anything the new SSD, but it just won't boot. My SSD is a Samsung EVO 840 250GB or EVO 840 Pro 250GB, the external HDD is WD Blue 10EZEX. MAybe some probles is with the SSD?

maybay your clone is not succesfull here..

What happens when you boot with ALT, and get to the boot selection screen, can you see your MacOS partition on the SSD here ?
is it visible ?

Hi

I tried in every way, install from logged macOS (just double click on the downloaded macOS in the Application folder), I tried through bootable USB, and finally I had make a Clone from external HDD (from the external HDD it boots normally). When I press the ALT and I get the boot selection screen, I can choose the macOS which is on the SSD, but as I said, it's just struggling somehow, I get the "no entry" symbol, then again the apple symbol etc, and always ended up at my old HDD log screen. I'm thinking to get some OWC SSD, but not sure if it would help or not.
