Aftermarket Battery Cover/Back Panels?

So with this new iPhone, since the back is so easily replaceable (a few screws, slide it off, slide a new one on), what do you think the chances are that third party companies could produce custom backs for the phone that you just slide on like the OEM back? I think this would be a cool alternative to a case. You could get it whatever texture/material you want, plastic, metal, rubber for grip, you could put designs on it or anything. I could see manufacturers doing some cool things with this, but I've yet to see or hear of any company planning to do this. I know it could be pricey to produce (as the OEM back replacements are ~$100) but I'm sure there's a market for it, no?
