I am only 15, my father hates :apple: in every way. To make things worse, he's a computer repair guy...im not here to complain that my father hates :apple:.

I wan't an iPhone, it's $600 and it's something i'd totally buy, but my family has been giving me the hardest time saying it's a waste. I can careless, say if I bought the iPhone at AT&T today, even though I am 16 can I sign up for a contract? I have a credit card, I have a Social Security number and everything that's really needed on the form.

My question is, do you have to be 18 to have a cell phone contract?

I think they could tell with the credit check, still if you get past the credit check you might be screwed if you need it to be repaired.

I was just wondering if it was legal, if there would be no problem to do it.

So you're saying you have to be over 18?
