I really like this new game, called Age of Conan. In fact i like it so much that i'm making sure my computer can run it. This is where i need help! I don't know much about computer requirements, and get most of my help from my cousin. Will
PowerMac G5
Cpu speed: 1.6 GHz
C2 Cache: 512 KB
Memory: 768 MB
Boot Rom: 5.1.5f0 work? and if i need anything, please don't hesitate to notify me. Been a while since i've actually seen a game like this! :D

Yeah, Age of Conan is only for Win XP/Vista, so if you want to play it on a Mac you'd have to play through Bootcamp, which isn't an option for you.

Even so, I don't think your machine would be able to cut it even if it could run Bootcamp. These are the requirements:

Required
OS: Windows Vista/XP
Processor: 3GHz Pentium IV
RAM: 1GB RAM
Video Card: Shader Model 2.0 and 128MB RAM: NVIDIA GeForce 5800 or ATI 9800

Recommended
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz (E6600) or better
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7950GX2 or better
RAM: 2GB or more

you need a whole new computer.

a 20" 2.4Ghz iMac with a 320Gb hard drive and 1Gb of ram would do just perfect. Apple sells them refurbished right now for $1150.

Or you could get a 24" 2.8Ghz or 3.06Ghz iMac with 1TB hard drive, 2Gb ram, and a 512Mb 8800GS GPU for quite a bit more, but it would last you for a few more years of games.

If you want to keep the moddable macPro, then it will cost you quite a bit to upgrade.

Other than that, you can always stream age of conan gameplay videos from youtube, assuming your internet connection is fast enough.:apple:
