AGPTEC ssd sata can’t be seen

Hi, any idea why I don’t see the ssd sata drive on my Mac (not mini) when I connect the drive the the slot of the AGPTEC is closed connector hub?

Did you try different SSDs?

Do the USB ports of the hub work?

An old iMAC from 2012.
The AGPTEC in the link.
Sandisc SSD
All the ports works except for the sata in the slot.

Does the USB tab in System Information.app show a USB to SATA adapter?

It’s not, but when I connect the ssd card by another adaptor it works. The sata adaptor in the AGPTEC slot seems to not work.
