hey all...
this morning my girlfriend left here iBook on my desk with a sticker on it saying 'this happened, can you fix it?'
Looks pretty sick to me... the machine was completely frozen, no mouse response. Last night the screen completely blacked out, restarting did the job. Anyone know what's going on here?
Will an OS format / reinstall help?

Yah its a KP but a damn old one AFAICT. Wasn't it Jag that moved to the more pleasing to the eye KP dump screen?

Hey register what version of OS X is on that thing? If you are running something prior to 10.2 you might consider giving her a 10.3 (If you can still find it anywhere.) For a gift this holiday season. 10.1 was..umm special.

PS- Also if its that old she might also consider doing a RAM upgrade to 512MB
