Not sure what this has to do specifically about the watch? Unless in regards to how she has botched the retail rollout?

Which in my opinion, she has

I love how people who are no where near as accomplished as Angela Ahrendts are here passing judgement. Especially considering what happened with the Apple watch has NOTHING to do with her. She's not responsible for the supply chains and production of the watch.

And you know this how? You can't possibly know if the production issues is why they aren't selling in stores or why the launch was so confusing. As an executive she gets to fall on the sword though

Also, who else's decision was it to start pre-orders before allowing try ons. Because that was dumb

I think people are being way too critical of her. If anyone can point to one person who received their watch outside of their scheduled delivery, I'll shut up.

there are a lot of things going on that none of us know about. You can't just point a finger at her and say "this is your fault!"

I really have a tough time believing that Tim Cook and his senior management let a "new hire" single-handedly be responsible for the initial launch of a first-of-its-kind Apple product, like the Apple Watch.

He (and his senior management) should have been involved in every aspect of this launch, including when pre-orders started, when try-ons started, how soon they'd be available to buy in the store, and how clearly the entire ordering process was explained.

They all should be falling on their swords, not just the new person to the team.

If the amount she's paid bothers you, remember Apple has money to burn... For years. She was too new to be blamed if you don't like the launch. I don't see an issue with any aspect of her employment with Apple. Remember Apple and only Apple is in control. She may have a big title but she's too new to be blamed for anything just yet.

Yet another stupid, made up statistic that we must share on the Internet. She was highest paid due to receiving stock from Apple to make up for what she lost when she left Burberry. She won't be highest paid again.

As for the watch rollout, it always amazes me that Apple doesn't consult the supply chain experts posting from their parent's basement.

The only thing bad about the Apple watch roll out were the people complaining about it. Ms. Ahrendts makes a lot of money and Apple believes she brings in more than she receives and that's enough for me.

And this is why she has the job and the guys complaining about her don't.
