aim mail problem

i could only receive mail on my iphone using aim but im not able to send any mail from aim. any help please[/B]

Go to "Settings>Mail>*select AIM account*"

Under "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)":

Host Name: smtp.aim.com
User Name: *your user name* (no "@aim.com" or anything.)
Password: *your password*

i don't get this option using the aol set up. do i have to use the OTHER setup? i do i use? imap or pop?

It's not the AOL setup. Use "other." It's IMAP.

Incoming Mail Server:

Host Name: imap.aol.com
User Name: *your user name* (no "@aim.com" or anything.)
Password: *your password*
