Hi,
I am not sure if this is the best place to post, and if it isnt please forward me to the right place.

I am attempting to get Aion to run using cider. When I try running the Cider terminal inside the Cider package I get the following error:
"err:module:BUILTIN32_dlopen failed to load .so lib for builtin mscoree.dll: dlopen(libmscoree.dylib, 2): image not found
err:module:pE_fixup_imports Module (file) mscoree.dll (which is needed by C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe) not found"

I looked online and found that mscoree.dll is part of .net and not sure how i would install that on cider, if that is indeed the problem.
Thanks

ATM, Aion isn't working with Cider or WINE. Double check the WINE application database for details

That's the most utterly stupid and self-defeating thing I've read in a while.

then you have major perception issues. Don't assume everyone has the same wants and desires as you... trying to group everyone into fitting into your personal mold will lead you to just not understanding whats going on.

I imagine you would install .NET framework the same way you installed your game. Just download whichever version of .NET framework the game needs and then install it.

(I'm only guessing.)

But if I'm honest, you'd do better with Bootcamp.

No, it's about practicality and appreciation of how life on a Mac has been so much better since moving to Intel chips. Especially for gamers. I can play any game I want with no hassle now.

But good luck with your angsty little issue there :D

I'm sorry that its over your head. If having to reboot and run Windows directly is no hassle for you, thats great... but not everyone shares your opinions.
