iPad Air Air 5 purple more grey than purple

A bit disappointing . I saw today the purple at the apple store and I thought it was silver , not purple at all.. didn't like any of the colours , the pink too muted too, I wish they did alpine green

The 2020 Airs were the same way. Quite muted. I have the Sky Blue 2020 Air, and it could easily pass for Silver in most lighting situations.

Yep. It looks more like an Icy/Frosty Silver than Sky Blue.

I sometimes use my iPad during business meetings so I actually find the subtle hue pretty helpful. Adds a bit of pizzazz for me but not too much so it’s still conservative enough to use in more formal settings.

That said, I’m tempted by the more bluish Air 5 for a more “fun” iPad. Wish that had been a color option for the mini 6.

there is no silver , there is starlight that looks more like a golden/silver
The only colour that in reality looks as in the promotional pictures is the space grey .. maybe the blue too but definitely not the purple
