Air bubbles in screen protector

just installed a transparent screen protector on Macbook and found lots of air bubbles trap between the display.Were told by Apple tech this would go away after some time as the heat generated from the system would solve this.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Well if Apple says they'll go away then I guess they'll go away? I never thought of a screen protector on my laptop screen. Seems odd.

I'm assuming that installing a screen protector film is much like applying a decal to a car window. If thats the case, use a credit card to get rid of the bubbles.

how long have you left it? if you haven't left it as long as they said, then i'm not sure what your asking for

How was it applied? Did you use a credit card to get rid of the bubbles? I'd reapply it again cause the bubbles won't go away.

My phone has a touch screen and T-Mobile provide a protector as standard. After I applied it initially I noticed a few quite large bubbles but didn't fancy peeling it off or scraping the surface. Anyway, after a month or so all the bubbles have gone. Leave it for a few weeks and see what happens. Unless they are really causing you viewing issues I would leave it be.

been 48hours since installing and the bubbles still there.Tried using the credit card method but not helping.Let me count 1,2 ,3 yup around 10 annoying bubbles which is around 1cm size.
I am pretty reluctant to peel it off and reinstall as this would damaged the screen protector which is quite costly(US20).

48 hours won't be long enough, it could take weeks. if you don't want to peel it off, which frankly I wouldn't want to either, just leave it be and see how it goes. I used to use a screen protector on my Powerbook which had a simple adhesive strip at the top which seemed to work well enough. Never used a completely sticky one on a laptop or indeed any large LCD before. Keep us posted of any change.
