Any day now Dell's very unique flip screen netbook will be up for order...
Not just a old style table PC but a new flip screen approach!

Interesting concept, just a dual core Atom CPU and thick base,
but for the low price I think they will sell well.

Nice to have an option to get the big keyboard out of the way at times.

How would you like to see a Air Duo flip screen ?
Apple would never do something like that. Too complex and too clunky. But it is a problem that needs solving.

I can see this idea dying soon from quality control issues, plus the design isn't very elegant in terms of the flip screen. Dell is just trying to attract people with a functional mess of a product. Nah, not good, I would not want to see this on the Air.

Steve Jobs made it pretty clear in the OS X 10.7 "Lion" presentation that he doesn't foresee incorporating touch directly into OS X. He'll leave that to iOS and the iPad. In his view, notebooks aren't about touch screens because of the fingerprint issue.

personally id prefer a tablet that had a bluetooth keyboard - remove it and you have a tablet slot it in place and you have a hinged clamshell device.

Biggest issue is that most of the weight would be on the screen side and not a lot of weight in keyboard side to balance it with screen tilted back

or even go one stage further and embed ipad chipset into it too with dual boot between them :)
