Air pod max not updating

So it says the new software is 6A300

I have had them charging in their case with my phone by them for almost an hour and it’s still showing 4E71

How long does it take. Am I doing it wrong. I’m running 15 PM with latest OS

Since I saw your note I just plugged mine into my studio and they updated to the new version within a couple hours. Not sure how long it actually took but they did update.

Did you just plug them in to charge and leave them alone? Did your phone need to be close?

I plugged them into my Studio front port to charge them but they were not in the case. The phone was in the room but not really close.
