Hi all this may have been discussed already but can't see anything specific and seeking advice. I received for Xmas a set off AirPods specifically to use when riding the adventure bike. Ive disabled the tap function and the if it falls out of the ear and stops (not that this is an issue). But it still drops out 1 or 2 songs in?? does anyone know what's going on or what Im doing that is causing this?? Cheers

I've been riding bikes for many moons. And through the years I've come to one conclusion regarding music and bikes - and it spells Cardo. I've tried all solutions, way back before the helmet bluetooth sets were a thing. Every single one had at least one major deal breaking showstopper.

I know - I'm not being very helpful to your specific problem. But I do recommend a Cardo headset, I'm not saying it's perfect, because it's not. But easily the best solution around. They last a long time too, I still have a old Cardo G9 that is fully functional almost 10 years after I bought it.

I ride as well and like having my music with me. I'll second doolar here, a motorbike-specific BT unit may be the best solution, but not the be-all-end-all.

I'm not sure why the AirPods would stop after a couple of songs. Is the music actually stopping or is the sound just not getting to the APs? Next time it happens, check to see if the music's still playing on your phone. If it is, I'd suspect the BT connection is dropping. If the music is paused on your phone, then it sounds like maybe the APs are jostling out of your ear a bit and triggering the music to pause (even though you said you disabled that function).

Good luck and keep us posted.

Wearing the AirPods have ergonomically designed to fit in your ears. Some AirPods have pod sizes to fit in your ears. Since you have issues, you need to adjust your liner or look for a new pair.
