I know people say these aren’t Recommended for workouts but I tend to go on two 3.5 mile walks a week will this be ok to use or will it be too sweaty to do so and be risky? I have my air pods pro for workouts but curious how people tend to use these the most for?

im tempted to pick a pair up so interested in people who use them on a daily basics

Unless you’re going very slow you’re gonna feel hot and gross. I walked in the winter with mine on and it was “not doing this again” reaction.

I tend to walk about 3.5 miles in about an hour so yeah I tend to get sweaty so sounds like not a good idea for this usage

I do brisk 30min walks every day - sometimes just in a circle around the house listening to podcasts. My AirPods Pros are the most practical. Regular AirPods work but fit too loosely.
The problem with the Max for this use:
- Too much isolation
- Weight
- Heat and sweat

Yeah, like others have said, hot and gross. I do wear them for a few minutes walking the dogs at night occasionally, if I already have them on. But not for real exercise.

Just walking around the house, I found mine to be a little "bouncy" on my head. Also, the ear pads do get warmish, on the ears, quite easily. I love my new AirPods Max, but for me these are at home, or coffeeshop headphones.

I will note I actually got a little more on head stability after I added a third party silicon headband (from amazon). Maybe simply adjusting the headphones better would have given me the same result?

I use mine outside all the time apart from winter time I’ve had no issues, whether that’s the weight or comfort or sweat.
However Cold and wet weather I defer back to my AirPods Pro.

I only use these while seated. I have tried walking with them and it is not a pleasant experience. It is why I kept the AirPods Pro around.

Best when seated or not moving much. Ok for a few steps around the house but you really feel them jostle around. Haven’t even thought about taking a real walk with them.

I use mine on nice days and casual walks and I like it. Earpads will be replaceable, and the transparency mode keeps me a bit safer. Overall I like it, but yeah they can get your ears a bit warm.
