This is kind of a stupid question since the Air's just came out, but when would we see Macbook Air's at the refurb store? Would we see it 4 months after the release date just like the MBPs?

Your question isn't stupid at all, it's just very pre-mature. Refurbs don't just automatically happen, they are based on returns and defective models being repaired. It could happen several months from now or longer.

Agreed. Look for a couple months out. If your really itching for one then I would say buy one now. That or get one with a student discount.

So Apple puts out refurbs as soon as they receive some returned products? I would expect them to have a certain amount of time pass before they make refurbs available (so people won't buy a $1599 Air one week after its release for example)
