While trying to sync my iphone I got the following error:

'The application Air Sharing was not installed on the iphone because an unknown error has occured (0xE800002E)"

1. I did have the software installed and working on my iphone
2. I deleted it from the phone so the icon was gone and tried to re-sync with the same error message
3. I tried to reinstall it and got the same error message
so now the app is in my library of apps on my mac but i can not install it on the iphone.

Any suggestions? BTW I have 300mb of data that is now inaccessible on my phone.
Thanks!

This did not work...

Thank you but this did not work. I am running 2.1 but it just wont allow it to de-install or install. The software vendor's web site says to do a restore....so off I go.

Restored my iphone - no luck

So I restored my phone as the software vendor directed with no success: Air Sharing will not install on my iphone. I have tried TWICE on the restore. So now I will ask the vendor for a refund.
