Headed to Italy and this will be my first international trip. We’ve setup our ESIM and are ready! I’m assuming iMessage will use my email instead of phone number while using data correct? How does that work? I’ve got the ESIM setup for data only and all the settings tweaked.

Just looking for pointers and info from others who have done this :)
 
Good service. Just turn on data roaming. iMessage will work just fine as it’s data based and will keep the same phone number.
