I installed iOS 9.0 DP1 on my IP6+ and os x 10.11 on the iMac and found that AirDrop does not work (either way), both devises do not discover each other.
Another bug i itunes does not find my iPhone over WiFi (this option is ticked). Both devises are on the same WiFi home network.
Anybody with the same issues?

I have the same issue in regards to Airdrop. I highly believe it will be fixed in the next beta.
Have not tried the iTunes over WIFI.

My iTunes over Wifi seems to work. In fact, my CleanMyMac3 also works. My iPhone runs on iOS8.3, so maybe it is iOS9 that causes the problem.

separating the wifi bands (2.4 Ghz and the 5 GHz) on the router solved this issue to make sure all the devices are on the same band.
it's been two days now and the devices and the macbook pro (mid 2012) sees and airdrop each other.

I got this from https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7099937 and just wanted to share it with you

Far from here

This is NOT necessary to sync devices in iTunes.

I just checked this with my Mac connected to my Airport Extreme (2.4 GHz) and my iPad connected to the same Airport Extreme (5 GHz) : no problem to backup/sync the iPad over wifi (no USB cable used).

My Airport Extreme does have two SSIDs for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands :

I was only referring to the Airdrop in my previous post. I have not tried the wifi sync and not using it.
