i have 2 macs and an iphone, and use airdrop to move data between these devices. every time i open airdrop, my neighbors' phones show up (they're in my contacts).

is there any way to restrict airdrop to my devices only? (i accidently sent a business document to a neighbor... ugh).

To the best of my knowledge there is not. I can understand this complaint because I ran into this problem this weekend sending photos and videos. Since AirDrop can be a little spotty sometimes I get more or less people to AirDrop which can resort them and care needs to be taken when selecting contacts.

So my advice is to be more careful or remove that person from your contacts. Maybe if you don't call them a lot just make a Note file with there number so you can directly click it from there? Sorry not much of a solution.

yeah, i contemplated that. seems... wrong, somehow, that we can see devices we may not want to see in airdrop, but.. i don't see a lot of complaints about it, so guess it... is what it is. thanks for the thought...
