Airdrop never work on my MacBook Pro 2012 MD101, can’t read device and can’t find by other device.

I’ve already try many solutions from articles or Apple Support like turn off firewall but still same.

The bluetooth and Wifi on my Mac is working fine.

What should i do? is there a hardware issue causing this?

It is possible that your Mac is too old to support AirDrop. To find out, follow these instructions...

I’ve read that link and my mac is supported airdrop based on the description on the site.

But i still can’t find or receive airdrop. My Bluetooth and Wifi is work fine

On the old machines, Airdrop was a folder in the Finder. When you open it, what do you see?

That’s how it used to look. I remember it behaved differently in those early days. You had to do something to allow other devices to appear. Let me try to remember what.

Check if other handoff features do work. Can you copy on your phone and paste on the Mac?

Make sure all devices are on the same Wi-Fi.

Have you always owned this MacBook or did you buy it second hand?

What is the macOS version installed? Is this the first time you are trying yo use the feature?

Both devices, sender and receiver, should have both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on... Neither devices need to be connected [They do not have to be connected] to Wi-Fi to use AirDrop but it is a requirement that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on for both devices...
