AirDrop not working (XS Max)

Hi all,

Getting tired of my Max, this is the second "normal" feature which gives me issues. It cant send pictures via mms, and now also AirDrop causes issues.

maybe you have a tip, i used to use AirDrop a lot as my family all have iPhones. However when i got the Max, it refuses to see my wife's phone unless i chose "accept all" instead of "contacts".

My wifes iphone (7) can see my Max with just contacts activated, but not the other way around. How come? Anyone have any tips? i have the phone number in contacs including country code.
