Airdrop receiving not working

Guys - Sonoma 14.2.1 on my Mac mini here. It's using the same Apple ID as my iPhone 13 Pro Max. When I select a photo or a file from the iPhone and select to send to Mac mini, it is stuck at waiting. I went into settings on my Mac and chose Everyone under Airdrop settings and it doesn't help. Same exact wifi network too and iPhone is 2ft from the Mac. I've been using iPhone airdrop (send & receive) successfully with other iPhones the last few years. Not sure what to do here

Hi if I have understood you correctly, you have to go into control centre on the iPhone and allow airdrop for everyone it is only on for 10 min at a time

That happens to my iphone sometimes, when I restart it, it works

Rebooted both Mac mini and iPhone several times, didn’t help
