Hi, this is my 2nd post on the subject and I've had no help and I'm a bit desperate on this. I hope I'm not breaking some rules or being rude. In three words: iPad doesn't receive files from iMac or iPhone and doesn't show any message saying I'm receiving something. Only a beep an the big void. I've read all the posts on MacRumors, on other forums too and on Apple forums and I watched almost 100 videos on Youtube. All of the solutions proposed are for totally non working Airdrop. But my iPad can send files to my iMac and my iPhone. It juts doesn't receive files from neither of them. I've tried all I know. I'm really lost here and I'm starting to be upset too. iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5s: iOS 9.2.1. iMac: OSX 10.11.3. I really need some input please. Thanks.

AirDrop is incredibly unreliable. What you're experiencing is common.

Even with these features, and iCloud Drive and Dropbox, etc... the quickest way to share files between devices is still to just email them to yourself.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Restart your router. That fixes all sorts of weird Airdrop issues.
