MY HARDWARE:
Late-2013 iMac
Core i5, running MacOS Mojave (recently clean-installed)
FAMILY HARDWARE:
2013 MacBook Pro 13-inch
Core i5, running MacOS Mojave (recently installed)
Prior to updating the MacOS, these two machines would interact via AirDrop without issue. They are both set to be discovered by "Everyone". File sharing in on.
Today, I downloaded the newspaper and tried to share it over AirDrop as usual. But AirDrop on either machine does not detect the other machine. All the settings seem correct. I tried turning WiFi off and then on again, repeatedly. No change.
I just recently bought a refurbished M1 Mac Mini from Apple. It runs MacOS Monterey. It can discover by the iMac and the MacBook Pro. I am baffled.
