Airdrop, Wifi, and Ethernet Conundrum

So, I want to connect my Mac mini to my router over Ethernet.

But it occurs to me that if I switch off Wifi and go to Ethernet, I won't be able to use AirDrop to and from the mini.

If I have both Ethernet and Wifi on, will the Mac default to one or the other necessarily? Is there a way to send traffic through Ethernet EXCEPT for AirDrop?

Turn on Wifi and keep your ethernet connection, just make sure the ethernet connection is on top of wifi and it will prioritize the ethernet overwifi

On your Mac, if you connect to the internet or a network in several ways (for example, using Wi-Fi or Ethernet), you can change the connection order.
