I am trying to remove an old MS 365 account from Airmail iOS. When I open the app, airmail wants to open MS authenticator to validate. I no longer have access to the MS email account so airmail is stuck in a loop trying to open. I can not go to settings to remove. I can on Airmail MacOS account but not iOS. Suggestions?

Someone in another forum replied with this and it worked....I feel dumb lol
"disable the internet connection on the iOS device and then open the Airmail app and remove this account."
