I have the MacVelope and I really like it. The only drawback is that scratches will probably occur when putting your MBA into the case if your not careful. The things I don't like about the AirMail - ugly sticker and stupid embossment. The MacVelope is very plain, while the AirMail is screaming for attention.

This is what I've done for now...

A 10x13 manila bubble-wrap envelope clad with a gray button-tie envelope. A little Spray-Mount and gaffer's tape. Works great and my Air Ultimate is well protected until I decide if I really want to spend the dough for a SF case and shoulder strap.

Please note that my needs are a little different. I have a very nice REI laptop backpack (that doesn't scream "ELECTRONICS INSIDE"). It has a padded sleeve for my 17" Dell M90 (office notebook) and an interior pocket where I can carry the Air, but the Air still needs some sort of sleeve, hence my kludged case/sleeve. The best part is the weight, about 2oz.
