I use a shortcut that shuts off wifi, bluetooth and starts airplane mode when I go to bed (to avoid interruptions)
I can't figure out why my battery would go from 54% to 29% overnight if I have everything pretty much shutdown
I would appreciate any tips on what may be happening from battery wonks
I don't see why the battery would budge under such condition of shut down

Post a screenshot from settings: battery showing what is running at the bottom of the page please

If you do it when you wake up it’ll show you what has been eating up the battery while you’ve been asleep

great idea, I will do exactly that, I wear hearing aids and I think that ,right be the culprit, I have an app that tracks the location of my aids 24/7

but doesn't airplane mode, bluetooth and wifi off pretty much shut the phone down entirely if there is no wifi or bluetooth or cellular what can the phone do ?

I guess it can keep trying to locate the aids though, right ?

To be honest I’m not too sure, I know there have been a few threads recently of abnormal battery usage, but we can narrow it down through the overnight useage 🙏

Force Quit all apps, turn off all radios (cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), let sit overnight & see what happens

Thanks everyone. Problem solved. Deleted my hearing aid app. Went to bed at 84% and woke up to 81%. Going to go through all my apps this morning to tune things up.
