I'm just looking into multi room speakers and discovered that there is, almost, no way to get different brand products to work all together
The closer thing I could find is UNDOK that is developed by a chip producer and let you multi room different undok enable products, not sure how it work, or Airfoil software that can group AirPlay device and stream to all of them ( or just one ).
But with Airplay 2 around the corner and Sonos One, Libratone Zipp, and other products already getting firmware update to support it I guess it would be the first "standard" protocol to enable multiroom audio across multiple device from different brand.
The only thing missing, as far as I know, is something like crome cast to enable AirPlay 2 to older device that does not support it.
