AirPlay/AirTunes between two ATVs/ATV2s?

Hi Folks,

I'm a proud owner of an ATV1 and ATV2, and am hoping to buy a few more ATV2s in the future. What I'm wondering though is if anyone has any experience in doing the following:
1) AirPlay audio between two ATV2s;
2) AirPlay/AirTunes between ATV1 and ATV2?

I've been using AirTunes a fair bit in my house (iTunes/AirFoil/AirFoil Speakers/ATV1/Airport Express), and am keen to keep doing so. I'm especially keen on the idea of starting audio on one ATV2 and using AirPlay to hear the same music in another room via a second ATV2 (useful for doing household chores when you're moving from room to room).

I though I'd try this out using an ATV1 and ATV2, but neither ATV seems to be able to see the other. This is understandable - one speaks AirPlay the other speaks AirTunes.

So has anyone done this with two (or more!) ATV2s?

I've been messing about with my current setup and it seems like the following is possible:
1) iTunes to AirPort Express, ATV1, ATV2;
2) ATV1 to AirPort Express

Anybody tried anything else?

pretty much my same setup....kinda sucks to keep itunes up all the time on my iMac, so maybe a workaround will come soon....

in the meantime, I still stream my library from my ATV to 2 airport express's and an additional ATV. my ATV2 is used to stream cartoons and such to my sons tv as of now.

I wonder if the AirPlay specs have been published at all - there must be something available if Apple are allowing third party companies to develop AirPlay devices.
