I'm looking for a way to get a turntable's output onto my wifi network, so it can be played through a remote amplifier via an Airport Express. Does such a capability exist?

If it is a USB turntable connected to Mac, you might be able to use something like Air Parrot that can Airplay audio and\or video from any application.

be aware that audio only airplay has a 2 second delay, the outputs will be in sync with each other, but behind the input.

there is a program called airfoil that will let you do what you want, but because of the delay, you might not be happy
you would have to use the audio input on you mac/pc and then stream from there.

sonos will do what you want, but is much more expensive.
