AirPlay Fail

Playing videos from iTunes or in any form from my windows 7 machine fails. This computer has been reformatted and all firewalls turned off for testing. When I try AirPlay for video games on my iPad 3 it freezes. I am using an airport express router, would an airport extreme fix this? I have tried both gen 2 and gen 3 apple TV's. Thanks for your help. I did a lot of research on this and am lost.

what firmware version are you using on your express? not sure if that matters, but it might.

I figured it out. Even if your using an apple router, Mac filtering has to be turned off.

That really sucks apple.

AirPlay works fine on my Airport Extreme with MAC filtering enabled.
