Hello,

I have tried searching but can't seem to find an answer. I am wondering if I can start a netflix movie on my ipad and move over an Apple TV2 via airplay? I would need sound and video.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

When iOS 4.3 comes out for the iPad and Apple TV (probably within the next few weeks), then Netflix will have the option of updating its app to allow AirPlay video streaming to the Apple TV -- it remains to be seen whether they will take advantage, but if they do then you'll be able to do what you want.

I have started on my iPad.....then switch to atv and the atv asks if I want to resume playing.

Hasn't worked every time though

I'm pretty sure Netflix will remember where you left off in the video and resume from there, even going device to device.

Yes that's true too -- you just have to switch from the iPad Netflix app to the AppleTV Netflix app.

I wonder though whether maybe the OP can't use Netflix on the AppleTV due to living outside the US or something (and there being no VPN on the AppleTV).
