AirPlay gaming ATV3 and iPad 2

Hi Guys

went to try out my iPad 2 and Real Racing HD via airplay and it was to laggy to play, is there anyway to fix this?

Both my AP3 and iPad 2 are connected Via Wireless N 5Ghz on a Netgear WNDR3700v2 so really shouldn't be suffering with lag.

Any help would be great.

No there is no way to improve this. Even a wired atv and an N router will not improve AirPlay enough to do any responsive gaming. AirPlay simply is not properly designed for it because the iPad is sending a transcoded live video to the screen introducing lots of delay.

The HDMI adapter is the only way to do it well.
