Resolved airplay help

I have iTunes 12.2 and i trying to use AirPlay and for some reason it won't hookup to my stereo with AirPlay. I did hookup before but since it updated to AirPlay 2 it won't hookup. Any way to get it to hookup. Thanks for the help.

Yes it does. It was the last update onkyo did for this stereo back in the beginning of 2023. Where my mac pro has the original version of AirPlay for iTunes 12.2 form mac os 10.7.5. It see does my stereo but when i click to connect i get a error message telling it can't connect to my onkyo at this time. My mac pro is like 2 feet from my stereo. So i instead plug in my digital cable into the digital out on the mac pro. I just wanted it free from a cable but i guess it won't be. Thanks.
