There's been some confusing info about this but...

...as I type this, I am currently using airplay to stream a purchased iTunes episode of Spartacus: War of the Damned to my living room home theater setup.

my MP is a flashed 2009/10, 12-core, flashed 7950, running ML.

I've read Xeons would not allow this. Maybe not on older MPs?

Sorry, if someone has already posted about this.

Streaming media with iTunes works on older machines. It's Airplay mirroring that does not work.

When I switched from an iMac to my current MP, Dolby Digital stopped working. The video streams fine, but no sound unless I turn off DD in AppleTV. Switching computers was the only thing that changed. Can't figure out why.

You're right, no mirroring is available.

Sorry, I just picked up this Mac Pro. I've mirrored games from my iPad but have never seen the need to mirror from my Mac Mini to by HDTV.
