I installed OSX Mountain Lion today which seems to run perfectly.

The problem i am having is that when i mirror to my :apple:TV the screen has a bluish tint to it.

i bet it's your TV is the problem.

No, TV is fine its a new 2012 Samsung smart TV with perfect picture.

there has to be a way that i can calibrate the picture like i can do with my Macbook pro screen

Your TV's color settings are probably set to have a bluish tint.

when i had Lion i used to apple tv to stream movies from my mac and the color is perfect, same with ML, this just seems to happen when i use the airplay mirroring function in ML. its not that bad and i guess i can deal with it though, i am just glad it doesnt do it for streaming movies from itunes.

My mother just bought that same TV. Try changing the picture mode to "movie." Dynamic tends to be bluish and higher in contrast, standard is overly white, but movie mode is prestine.

I don't know much about the TV connections to Macbook, but it seems that this 'bluish tint' happens to many people who recently installed Mountain Lion, including me. It happened only once to me, then it disappeared when I reboot. But other people say it comes back again! Hope they fix it by some kind of upgrade...
