My AppleTV (2, jailbroken) won't allow AirPlay Mirroring anymore from some devices.

My Retina MacBook can only stream audio from iTunes, but no more video mirroring from the menu bar icon.
Same for our iPhone 5S and our iPhone 6: only audio, no video.

Our (older) Retina MacBook Pro can mirror its desktop just fine using AirPlay.

All devices connected to the same network.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance

I had the same issue. I read somewhere that iOS9 and OSX El Capitan include a different encryption when airplaying / mirroring. You need to update your AppleTV to the latest OS for it to work again.

However, I'm in the same boat as you are: I have a jailbroken AppleTV2, so I can't update the OS without losing the jailbreak.

I decided I prefer living without Airplay mirroring and having Kodi installed on it, than the other way around... :p
