AirPlay Mirroring on iPhone 4S

How do I enable AirPlay mirroring on the iPhone 4S? I want to stream the contents of my screen to my Apple TV 2.

Double click the home button and slide left to where the iPod controls are, if you're near your AppleTV or whatever, it'll show the AirPlay symbol.
It works flawlessly, very quick & responsive.

I noticed the option on the Idevice only shows up if your atv2 is updated to latest software.

Mine is not working.. My AppleTV is up to date and my 4S and AppleTV are on the same network but I'm not getting an AirPlay symbol when I slide left to the controls. Airplay works with everything else, I'm just not able to mirror.

Any ideas?
